Welcome to the Arctic Route between Narvik and Tromsø in Norway. - From 1 December to 31 March, this route takes you between Tromsø and Narvik. - The bus departs at 09:00 from Tromsø, 100 meters from Scandic Ishavshotel. - The bus departs at 14:00 from Narvik train station, Narvik Quality Hotel, and Narvik Scandic Hotel. - Along the route, it has extra pick-ups at Aurora Husky, Polar Park, Lapphaugen, and Isogaisa. - This bus connects with the arrivals and departures of the (night)train to/from Kiruna/Stockholm. This scenic journey through a winter wonderland takes us through seven municipalities in the North Norwegian counties of Nordland and Troms. Welcome to the Arctic Route. On this route you will experience the beauty of Finnish Lapland, both the tundra and the small municipalities along the way. This route will connect you to Tromsø, Kilpisjärvi, Kittilä Airport, Levi Skiing Resort and Rovaniemis's famous Santa Claus Village. In addition to the beauty of the landscape, there are many activity providers offering experiences such as snowmobile safari, skiing, Sami culture, husky safari, ice fishing, local food and culture, accommodation and much more. It is also possible to continue your journey in Finland down to Oulu on the same day.
- From 1 November to 31 January, the Whale Route takes you from Tromsø to your whale-watching tour in Skjervøy and back. - The bus departs from Tromsø at 5.30 am in front of Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø - be here latest 05:20 am. - Along the route it has extra pick-ups at North Experience, Skibotn and Lyngen North. - It arrives in Skjervøy at around 09.30/9.45 am, right on time to go on one of the whale watching tours leaving from Skjervøy. - The bus leaves Skjervøy after your tour at 1.30 pm (be back on the bus latest 1.20 pm. You will be back in downtown Tromsø at 5.40 pm. Skjervøy is a lively fishing village about 250 km north of Tromsø that has become one of the most popular destinations for winter whale-watching safaris in Norway.
